1 Corinthians 10:31: “So whether you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
If martial arts are worth doing (and we believe they are) we should seek to do it for God’s glory.
Martial Arts as a Mission
Timothy 6:12 – “Fight the good fight of faith…”
If martial arts are worth doing (and we believe they are) we should seek to do it for God’s glory.
We believe in a God who is Sovereign over all of His creation and our desire is to see His glory manifested IN, FROM and THROUGH the world of martial arts. This is why we exist and why we ask our friends to come along side us as partners. Abraham Kuyper said: “There is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is Sovereign over all, does not cry, Mine!” May He be pleased to use us for this purpose in our sphere of influence!
There are three distinct areas where we see to lift up the Name of Jesus Christ via our sphere of influence in the martial arts:
1. Within the platform of Martial Arts…we seek to engage the broader martial arts world with a Christ-centered alternative to the secular, self-focused or Eastern worldviews that dominate the current martial arts culture.
2. From the platform of Martial Arts… we seek to champion selfless service and leadership by mobilizing an ever-expanding community purposed to make Christ known through a broad scope of opportunities ranging from local to international missions.
3. Through the platform of Martial Arts…we seek to employ martial arts training as the catalyst for personal growth and development through intentional methods encompassing physical, mental, and spiritual discipline.
We pray and trust that the Lord may be pleased to increase our collective influence for His glory alone!
Martial arts is about Self& Others-Defense, Discipline for increased fitness and development of Character. Spiritual side of this is spiritual self-defense (Proverbs 4:23) and Ephesians 6:10-18 among others.
Spiritual disciplines for increased spiritual fitness and the Character Traits of a Christ-Warrior.
